The Acer Veriton RI110 is a new mini PC that Acer is positioning as an “AI Mini Workstation.” It features the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor from the Panther Lake family, which includes a high-performance integrated GPU (iGPU) and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This setup is designed to handle both general computing tasks and AI workloads efficiently.
The Veriton RI110 supports up to 96GB of LPDDR5X RAM, making it suitable for memory-intensive applications. It also has an M.2 2280 slot that can accommodate up to 4TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage, ensuring fast data access and ample storage capacity.
One of the standout features of this mini PC is the OCuLink connector, which allows you to add an external graphics dock or AI accelerator. This is particularly useful if you need more graphical power or specialized AI processing capabilities. The OCuLink connector provides external PCIe 4 x4 connectivity, offering a flexible way to expand the system’s capabilities.
The Veriton RI110 is equipped with a variety of ports, including two USB4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, three USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, one DisplayPort, one 3.5mm audio jack, and two LAN ports (one 10 Gigabit and one 2.5 Gigabit). It also supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity.
The physical dimensions of the Veriton RI110 are 138.5 x 131.1 x 52.1mm (5.45″ x 5.17″ x 2.05″), making it compact enough to fit in small spaces. It comes with a 120W power adapter, ensuring it has enough power to handle its performance demands.
While the Veriton RI110 is targeted at business and enterprise customers, its specifications make it a strong contender for anyone needing a powerful mini PC. The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, with its integrated Arc B390 graphics, provides a good balance of performance and efficiency. The ability to expand with an external graphics dock or AI accelerator via the OCuLink connector adds to its versatility.
Pricing for the Veriton RI110 has not been announced yet, but given its premium specifications, it is likely to be on the higher end. Acer plans to release it in North America before the end of the year.
