MSI has introduced the EdgeMesa N AI mini PC, featuring NVIDIA’s RTX Spark N1X chip and 128 GB of unified memory, making it a strong contender for local AI tasks.
The RTX Spark N1X chip integrates an 8-core CPU with a 16-core GPU, delivering 45 TOPS of NPU performance. This setup is capable of running a 7-billion parameter model locally at 25 tokens per second. The 128 GB of unified memory ensures that large AI models and datasets can be handled efficiently without swapping to slower storage.
