The ACEMAGIC AI Mini Workstation is the first mini PC to feature AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor. This new system packs a 12-core CPU with 24 threads, running at up to 5.0 GHz, and a 16 TOPS NPU.
The Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 is AMD’s latest APU, combining a powerful CPU with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) designed for AI tasks. The NPU hits 16 TOPS, enough to run a 7B model locally at 25 tokens/sec. This makes it a strong contender for local AI workloads, offering a good balance between performance and power efficiency.
For mini PC users, this means having a compact system that can handle both general computing tasks and AI workloads without needing a separate GPU. For local AI users, the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 offers a significant boost in performance for tasks like model inference and training, all within a small form factor.
