The Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 model boasts 16 Zen 5 cores clocked at 5.2 GHz, a Radeon 8065S iGPU with 40 RDNA 3.5 compute units running at 3000 MHz, and up to 192 GB of LPDDR5X memory operating at 8533 MT/s. This configuration provides a total platform compute of 131 TOPS for AI tasks, a 5 TOPS increase over the 395 model.
In terms of connectivity, the F9A includes two USB4 ports, dual 2.5G Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, DP 2.1, and an OCuLink interface (PCIe 4.0 x 4). It also features a single M.2 2280 SSD slot supporting up to 4 TB storage devices.
The Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 model can support up to 120B Q4 models and up to 300B MoE models, a 60% improvement over the 395 model’s capabilities. This makes the F9A an excellent choice for local AI tasks and large language models.
Pricing for the F9A has not been officially disclosed, but estimates place the Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 option around $2999-$3999, while the 495 option will likely be priced above $5000. The F9A launches with the Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 on September 10th, with pre-orders starting the same day.
For those shopping for a mini PC with strong AI capabilities, the ACEMAGIC F9A is a compelling option. Its compact size, powerful specs, and impressive AI performance make it a strong contender in the mini PC market. However, potential buyers should be prepared for a higher price point, especially for the 495 model. For more details, check out the original article on Wccftech.
