iiyama has launched the Style-I1MA-RA45-EZDX, a compact mini PC powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 450 processor. This 8-core, 16-thread Zen 5 architecture chip boosts up to 5.1 GHz, making it a solid performer for everyday computing, office work, and even some more demanding tasks. The integrated Radeon 860M GPU handles graphics, while a dedicated NPU takes care of AI processing, hitting 45 TOPS. This is enough to run a 7B model locally at 25 tokens/sec.
The mini PC stands out with its dual Ethernet ports, one supporting 2.5GbE and the other 1GbE, along with a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. This setup is great for secure, reliable connectivity, especially useful for digital signage or other always-on applications. The standard configuration includes 8 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 500 GB NVMe M.2 SSD, both of which can be upgraded through a build-to-order service.
Connectivity is robust, with two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, one USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort output, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and an SD card reader on the front. The rear offers two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort output, HDMI, DisplayPort, and two Ethernet ports. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.0. The mini PC measures 5.51 × 5.11 × 1.73 inches (139.9 × 129.9 × 43.9 mm) and supports optional VESA mounting, which is useful for mounting it behind a monitor.
Priced at around $1,075, the iiyama Style-I1MA-RA45-EZDX is currently available only in Japan. While it’s a bit pricey, the specs and features make it a strong contender for those needing a compact, powerful mini PC with robust connectivity and security features.
